Suite au succès de la première édition (254 inscrits du
monde entier, plus de 150 œuvres réalisées), pour son onzième festival (mai
2011), la Biennale Internationale des Poètes (11 rue Ferdinand Roussel 94200
Ivry-sur-Seine France), lance une deuxième édition de son concours
international de poésie-média. en partenariat avec Radio Aligre, la revue
Poptronics, Le Cube, La Maison de la poésie de Paris, XLR-project.
Sera considérée comme poésie-média toute œuvre mettant
les technologies contemporaines au service de la poésie que ce soit dans le
cadre d'une performance ou dans celui d'une œuvre enregistrée et projetable :
vidéo-poésie, poésie numérique, poésie multimédia, poésie sonore, poésie
interactive, installation poétique sur site Internet ou dans un espace
quelconque, etc. Ne seront toutefois pas considérées comme telles des œuvres
qui ne seraient qu'illustratives comme la mise en musique ou en image de textes
poétiques. Les thématiques et les formes utilisées sont libres.
L'œuvre présentée ne devra pas excéder une durée de 15
minutes et devra àtre présentée au concours sous forme d'enregistrement sur un
site Internet ou sur un site collectif comme Youtube ou DailyMotion.
Inscription : les candidats au concours devront déclarer
par mail leur intention de participation avant le 31 mars 2010 à l'adresse
suivante : media-poesie@biennaledespoetes.fr
La remise des œuvres devra intervenir avant le 31
décembre 2010 en communicant l'adresse Internet du site à l'adresse mail
ci-dessus.
Un jury constitué d'une dizaine d'artistes internationaux
(voir liste ci-dessous) examinera les œuvres et attribuera le prix Poesie-media
2011 ; le remise du prix s'effectuera à Paris dans le cadre du festival lors
d'une journée consacrée à la poésie-média ou dans un autre lieu du
Val-de-Marne.
Le lauréat du prix sera invité à Paris une semaine, tous
frais payés, pour la onzième biennale.
Les artistes participants s'engagent à autoriser la présentation
publique des œuvres créées dans le cadre du concours mais, sauf accord
spécifique contraire, en conservent l'entière propriété.
After the real success of its firts contest (254
subscribers of the whole world, more than 150 realized works) for its eleventh
edition (May 2011), the International Poetry Biennial is pleased to announce an
International Media Poetry Competition in partnership with Radio Aligre, la revue
Poptronics, Le Cube, La Maison de la poésie de Paris, XLR-project.
Works considered "media poetry" are those that
place contemporary technologies at the service of poetry, be it within the
framework of a performance or in that of a recorded and projectable work. Among
the many forms accepted are included videopoetry, digital poetry, multimedia
poetry, sound poetry, interactive poetry, and poetic installations in physical
space or on the Internet. Works that illustrate a poem will not be considered
(these are works that use sound or images to represent or complement a poem,
for example). There are no restrictions regarding the form or content of the
media poems submitted.
Work presented shall not exceed 15 minutes and can be
presented on a personnal web site or on a collective site as YouTube or
DailyMotion.
Application: Candidates willing to submit their work to
the International of Media Poetry Conmpetition shall express their intention via
email before March 31st, 2010. To do so they shall write an email to:
media-poesie@biennaledespoetes.fr
The address of the work submitted shall arrive at the
Poetry Biennial's office (11 rue Ferdinand Roussel 94200 Ivry-sur-Seine France)
or to the above email address before December 31st, 2010.
A jury made up of ten international artists (see list
below) will examine the works and will allot the Media Poetry Prize 2009. The
prize will be given to the winner during a special ceremony to be realized
during the Poetry Biennial.
The prize winner will be invited to Paris, all expenses
paid, for one week during the Poetry Biennial.
Participation in the contest automatically authorizes the
Biennial to publicly exhibit submitted works. Unless otherwise specified, the
copyright of the works remains with the artists.
